Our two party system is one of Elitists

The two party political system our economy has guided us towards has for all practical purposes created one distinct party of Elitists. Little discerns the Republicans from the Democrats besides a few ballooned issues, yet on the all important economic issues which disfavor the majority population in this country, the poor working class, Big Business and the super rich receive financial and opportunistic kickbacks for their campaign contributions, which have affectively eliminated all grass root political parties from serious contention. There is a giant web that is interconnected by these elite, who are intentionally crippling the power of the majority population, mainly by ensuring the preservation of the two party political system. It is absurd that our political and social issues are continually boiled down to Republican or Democrat financially backed responses. Republicans and Democrats respond first to the elite.

We need to disallow all forms of commercial advertising and restrict the election process in regards to campaign financing. Paid advertising is too commercial, creating too much of an unfair advantage for the elitist backed super parties. All these inequalities are financially based. There are other less commercial ways to campaign which take place on a more even playing field. Public debates and televised interviews are the way our elections should be decided, not by a contest gauging who can outspend who. Lets see some democratically led roundtable discussions between a group of candidates which tackle some real issues, not the middle line towed by the Republicans and Democrats. We would also be better to restrict the allowable amount of funds spent on campaign financing. It is absurd how much money is spent on elections at the federal and state levels. Capitalism needs to be restricted from the election process, it is undemocratic otherwise. It's the elite feeding each other, while our democracy foots the bill. We need more than campaign finance reform, we need election process reform. We need to educate the majority on how badly they're being taken.
